US AID to Egypt Too Little Too Late

As the youth watched the Arab Spring call for revolution was clear it spread throughout the Middle East but fearing change the western powers and corporations acted in what has supported the old and new regimes of repression and oppression.

As the youth watched the Arab Spring call for revolution was clear it spread throughout the Middle East but fearing change the western powers and corporations acted in what has supported the old and new regimes of repression and oppression.

The Obama administration (Obomber) was reported to be in meetings today accessing weither or not to cut of military aid to the Egyptian military. The Obama White House and Capitol Hill has once again decided that the main enemy is the American people in the present state of cloak and dagger deceit and deceptions where it competes with the Cold War era for stupidity, ignorance, lying, cheating, and stealing.

In the current struggle for power in Egypt, the issues confronting the Obama administration and the Democratic Party and American corporate status quo is not weither or not to cut off the approximate 1.5 billion dollars in subsidies and assistance.

As such subsidies and assistance of corporate welfare aid to the United States Military Industrial complex, has been intrinsic to the American foreign policies and “assistance” for the last sixty-five years. In strategic US power plays where once the Soviet Union financed the Arab nationalism of Abdul Nasser, conduits of military industrial complex subsidies and assistance.

Where  “for two decades a young army officer out of nowhere, Gamal Abdel Nasser Hussein, towered over Egypt, the Arabs – and even the broader Muslim world – allied to the Soviet Union and preaching shortcuts to modernization. Today his politics is scarcely mentioned among the 400 million Arabs much less in the rest of the world.” (Egypt’s downward spiral started with Nasser, Sol W. US Egyptian History Repeats

“US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles was deeply suspicious of Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser, who he believed to be a reckless and dangerous nationalist. Following Egypt’s arms deal with Czechoslovakia, however, others in the Eisenhower administration convinced Dulles that the American aid might pull Nasser back from his relationship with the Soviet Union and prevent the growth of Soviet power in the Middle East. In December 1955, Secretary Dulles announced that the United States, together with Great Britain, was providing nearly $75 million in aid to Egypt to help in the construction of the Aswan Dam on the Nile River. In response to Nasser’s increasing attacks on Western colonialism and imperialism and Egypt’s continued dalliance with the Soviet Union, Britain and the United States withdrew funds for the Aswan Dam in July 1956. That action drove Egypt further toward an alliance with the Soviet Union and was a contributing factor to the Suez Crisis later in 1956. Nasser responded to the aid cut by nationalizing the Suez Canal and the Soviets then rushed to Egypt’s aid; the Aswan Dam was officially opened in 1964.”

Where many decades ago Soviet aid and proxies were replaced by a conglomerate of American, European and western corporate ones with a good portion of interest and support from their fellow tyrants in the Arab World.

Where  a third of Egypt’s 90-million people are under 15, three-fifths under 30, most at best semi-literate – a population that increased at least 25 percent in the last two decades.”  Ibid.) which

American foreign policies and “assistance” for the last sixty-five years that financed the United States military industrial complex, through the front men of the Egyptian military who pose as straw men in the administration of Egypt which has not represented Soviet interests but American and western interests and most of all the military industrial complex’s interests. In a global arms market without a Cold War as an excuse and pretext on which basis to justify the massive sales of arms, arms systems, and military aid and assistance.

Where it should be noticed that  in the time where American politicians and the Obama administration has dragged its feet in regard to the issues of cutting off US military aid to the military rulers of Egypt. That such decisions and indecisions prompted what amounted to support for Saudi policies for support to Eygpt as quickly “Saudi Arabia says it will cover cuts to Egypt aid, The Hill, by Jeremy Herb 08/19/1311:30 AM ET)

Where ” Saudi Arabia Promises to Aid Egypt’s Regime, NY Times, by Rod Nordland August 19, 2013).

Where within a week of the Egyptian military’s July 3 takeover,  the Saudis “announced a $12 billion rescue package that dwarfs direct military and economic grants from the United States ($1.5 billion) and the European Union ($1.3 billion) combined.”.

Where the hypocritical representatives of western “democracy” can be seen as the stingy cheap and overly proud arrogant western corporatists they are for their wish washy half-assed views of opportunism, deceit in what amounts to fraud in the police state that binds them.

Saudi wealth and Opulence which is the basis of their power as an integral art of western geopolitics and economics vital to the current state of western capitalist corruption and greed.

Saudi wealth and Opulence which is the basis of their power as an integral art of western geopolitics and economics vital to the current state of western capitalist corruption and greed, in a contest of the extravagance of palaces and malls.

Where in support of its own tyrants “Saudi Arabia blamed the United States and other allies for failing to support Mr. Mubarak in 2011” (as many Israelis were critical) . When Egyptians took to the street provoking his ouster, but where most high level “criticism was in private, and low-key”. Even after the Muslim Brotherhood-backed government of Mr. Morsi was elected, the Saudi despots “responded quickly to keep the treasury solvent with a substantial $5 billion in aid” so as to support their fellow despotic allies. as even this writers had to ask himself what the Obama administration was doing.

In a tragic area that in following the various corrupt capitalist models vacillate between American crony capitalism and eastern despotic capitalism, where most survive on $2 a day, there is not governmental transparency or accountability which has created on of the greatest gaps in income between the most high and the average citizen.

So at this point in timer there no real question of weither or not US and European aid should be suspended but how will these corrupt western governments in being beholden to the regional tyrants and despots retain the faintest semblance of good relations and good will with the peoples of the region. After all it is very often American and European weapons (and ammunition), which kills and maims every day in Egypt and the Middle East. Regardless of weither most often, and the people dying supports Egyptian liberalization, the Egyptian military, Westernization, Islamic traditionalists, Coptic Christians. Where one always can ask does it matter when people are blow apart and dying in what occurs with the half ass involvement and tacit if not direct approval of brainless and worthless politically appointed career bureaucrats in Washington DC? Where as also Israelis and Palestinians die for that matter, where another round of peace talks does not suffice in the political incompetence of of partisan politics regarding the Jews, Arabs and the Middle East, as long the arms industry makes money that in the West is rehabilitated by calling it something other than it is “profits” as in profiteering. Where all that money in billions would go a long way towards insuring a better world and society rather than being spent on weapons.

At the time the the Secretary of State was John Marchall, who apposed the alliance. He knew because of the alliance the Americans were going to have over seas would have caused hatred on us, because of the creation of the Jewish state. The next election in the United States Truman recognized Israel literacy.

During the Cold War the Unites States of America, created an alliance with Israel Secretary of State Marshall like many opposed the alliance though the issue was rendered moot when after the next election US president Truman recognized Israel.

Where it seems that the US Obama administration has allowed itself to be used in traditional power plays in that part of the world, in “troubles” reminiscent of Northern Ireland  so as to serve which serve as the pretexted basis for repression, oppression, military rule, poverty, death, destruction and all the evils of that part of the world. In the sort of policy which should be the farthest point from what they should desire or wish for in the hodgepodge of American politics entangle intrinsically with the immediate insatiate wants and needs of its industrial base and economy. In that solely President Obama as many American politicians, as dependent on contributions and support, lack the courage to do right in that they have ignored proper advice, counsel.

Where American political appointments come with a price that extend way beyond the ability to become appointed to the highest positions of state,  when on a question of intelligence appointees to the highest positions can not be justified as qualified but merely expedient convenient or  in other words political.

“On 17 March 2011, Senator John Kerry, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States Senate, officially confirmed that the government of the United States froze assets worth $31 billion belonging to Mubarak, including property and bank accounts.  Kerry later retracted his statement, saying he meant to refer to Muammar Gaddafi, not Mubarak.”

In what gives the world the long lasting impression American government has no idea what they are really doing as buffoons who get their positions the old fashioned way: BY BUYING THEM!

Where desperately in all people in the Middle East wants needs and dreams of peace if only they are allowed to dream of the way unto now which has been obstructed by successive administrations especially the western ones who profits from the sale of arms and heavy weapons systems.
